The Cardiovascular Imaging Research Core Laboratory (CIRCL) is an independent, non-profit, academic research core laboratory that specializes in quantitative and qualitative core laboratory analysis of cardiac and vascular imaging. CIRCL provides the highest level of imaging core lab services for every scale of cardiovascular clinical research trial; from small, pilot studies up to multi-year, multi-site, international clinical research studies.

CIRCL offers its expertise in quantitative and qualitative image analysis including: carotid ultrasound analysis, flow-mediated dilation (FMD), intravascular ultrasound and coronary computed tomographic angiography.

Introducing the CardioRisk Calculator ™

The CardioRisk Calculator ™ is being developed and updated at the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Core Lab to educate physicians on the most recent Canadian dyslipidemia guidelines, and implements guidelines for the diagnosis of familial hypercholesterolemia.
